The Geely EX2 is a small electric hatchback set to shake up the Australian market as one of the country's most affordable EVs. Known globally for its smile face front end desgin and cute looks, it will attract the hearts of Aussie suburban and city drivers. Its arrival in the second half of 2026 marks Geely's third major local car in under 2 years.
Even with its small size on the outside, the EX2 uses its 2.65 metre wheelbase to make the most of inside room. The cabin is designed with a spaceship feel, packing a large floating screen and a fully flat floor. It somehow feels surprisingly roomy and spacious for a vehicle of its class, comfortably seating five people.
Innovation goes even into the storage of the car, with over 30 clever compartments tucked throughout the cabin, including a rare 70-litre "frunk" under the bonnet. Available in various colours, it is placed as a tech-forward lifestyle accessory rather than just a budget car. It is built on Geely's flexible Global Intelligent Electric Architecture (GEA).
