The Lexus RZ is a big step for the brand in Australia as its first pure-electric car in the market. Sharing a platform with the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra, the RZ ups the experience with Lexus' luxury design and sleek features, like a modern version of the spindle grille.
Inside, the RZ has a roomy and refined cabin that puts comfort and tech first. It packs high-quality, well-made materials and a minimalist design, centred around a large central touchscreen. The car focuses on providing a quiet and serene driving experience, just as you would expect from a Lexus.
Initially available as the RZ 450e, a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model, it provides strong performance and all-weather traction. A more affordable, single-motor, front-wheel drive RZ 300e has also been discussed for the Australian market, but has yet to arrive. This cheaper model would also have a longer driving range.
