The Volvo EX90 is the Swedish brand’s top-of-the-range all-electric seven-seat SUV, bringing with it a high-tech evolution of the renowned XC90. Launched in Australia in early 2025, it shows Volvo's commitment to becoming a fully electric car company by 2030. Its clean, aerodynamic styling is emphasised by a distinctive roof-mounted LiDAR sensor.
On the inside, the EX90 delivers a business-class spec space which has Scandinavian vibes. The cabin moves away from traditional leather with Nordico, which is a high-quality sustainable material made from recycled plastic and bio-attributed resins. A big 14.5-inch vertical screen is found in the centre with Google built in for easy navigation, entertainment, and vehicle control without needing a connected phone.
Designed with families in mind, the EX90 is geared towards comfort and loads of space across three rows. Its dedicated electric platform comes with a flat floor, improving legroom and storage. With a five-star ANCAP safety rating and a suite of advanced sensors, it is engineered to be the safest vehicle Volvo has ever made.
